at some point in the video the info screen shows you're running 4K @ 60Hz 12bit 4:2:2, maybe that is why your projector thinks it's in HDR. could you please try it in 4:4:4 8bit, or RGB 10bit, if that solves the problem? you'll probably have to change it in AMD graphics settings.

Good work. But as per my poor knowledge, we need to povide a lot of electric power supply in order to cool an average size room e.g 11 x 13 sqft. The heater that you are showing will be consuming under 300 watts as 20 dc amp x 12 volt =240 watts. I think it may work for a very smaller space like 6 x 4 sqft but will not be able to cool a normsl sized bedroom. We need to spend atlesdy 2000 watts or more of power to cool a room of an average size. Have you personally tried it to cool a bedroom? If so how long it took to cool room reasonsbly?

Peltier is high energy consumption, not recomended.

I bought a Creative BT-W5 USB-C dongle to add Apt-x Adaptive to my old OnePlus phone, and to my laptops, after I purchased Soundpeats Air4 Pro earbuds, that have Apt-x Adaptive. I can confirm the Creative BT-W5 works flawlessly with Linux and Windows computers, and with my phone (note: turn OTG on when you plug in the dongle), and since it is USB-C, I don't need another adapter like in the video above (looks so ugly and unwieldy). I'm even using it with my work laptop, because Windows hates pairing with bluetooth earbuds, and this dongle solves that issue, as well as giving better sound and longer range.. It also works really well for calls on computers (MS Teams, in my case).

Thank you for these videos. Theres so many great bulb projectors out there and i see everyone saying "dont get a cheap phosphor laser projector, get a 4LED one". But you bring up a good point about losing 700 lumens after 1000 hours usage. Laser just feels like less of a hassle and more reliable. Really considering the LX700-4k

Great video! There's so little information on this projector at the moment. It seems like one of the only projectors i can buy because i need a roughly 1:1 throw ratio. Only thing im wondering is if its worth waiting for the laser RGB model viewsonic are meant to be bringing out later this year, or if this phosphor laser wont be much different and will be much cheaper anyway?

hello my friend, how can I use 3d on this projector? I have 1.04 update

I connect my LX700 to my new Windows computer (via HDMI 2.0) and I also can only choose "HDR" as the Display Mode, even when my PC's HDR has been turned off! It's quite annoying. But fortunately after some adjustment, the colors are good enough. I'm using a low-cost 120" grey-silver screen, and here are my ideal settings: Brightness Mode Eco. Contrast -17 Brightness -10 Sharpness 1 Color -5 BrilliantColor 4 Color Temperature Warm Color Space Auto Remember to adjust the Color and Gamma in your Windows setting too! (Right-click on desktop, Display settings, Advanced display settings, Display adaptor properties for Display 1, Color Management, Advanced, Calibrate display.)

Why on earth won't Viewsonic advertise the fact that their projectors HAVE and SUPPORT 2.35:1? This is VERY annoying. It's the only projector out their that has this feature and it doesn't want to market that. Shame shame

Samsung is mad! They have to allow APTX adaptive! I bought a Sennheiser momentum 4 over ear headphones thinking I would get the aptx adaptive 😢

Would you recommend 748 or 747 ? Both 4k second hand to be cheaper, or X1 or X2 ? For all purposes , main tv so cinematics and gaming X1 and X2 can't find second hand affordable. Meanwhile, px747 is 200-300 euros cheaper than px748 so is it worth it ? The extra charges...

Instead of Bluetooth if you connect the speakers via optical or hdmi arc the delay will be gone I guess

Another type of adhesive that not many people know about, that is very good for this. is using super glue with bicarb soda. When you apply these two together by. cup soda accelerates the oxygen. outtake. as in hardening the compound so that it becomes very rigid for the point where you can actually sandpaper it. Just thought that I'd add that here. Make sure you clean everything with alcohol first.
